Summertime is Crafting Time!
I have lots of fun and creative workshops planned for the next few months (July and August) and they are all detailed below.
Having said that, remember that if there is a workshop you see listed, and you can't make the scheduled time, contact me and we can schedule a mutually convenient alternate time for you to complete the project.
And, if you want to plan a custom workshop for three or more participants, I'd be happy to help organize something special.
So, here we go with what's coming up!
Messy Mondays are Back!
Join me from 10 am - noon on these select Mondays to work on your own art journal creations, or to explore a new technique.
Each session will include a brief demo or description of a journalling technique and then the rest of the time will be "free" for you to create and explore with your own journal and supplies (limited studio supplies will also be available for use).

Monday, August 27
As noted above, all sessions will run from 10 am until noon and the cost is $10 including GST.
No journalling experience is needed, but if this is your first exposure to journalling, please let me know so I can be sure you have the necessary supplies.

Creating with the Gel Press
The Gel Press creates fun and seemingly limitless images to use in your art journals, card making, or other crafting projects.
In this two-hour workshop, I'll introduce you to the basic gel press concepts and techniques and we'll create a series of "pulls" that you will be able to use in future projects.
Class size is limited so that you have the maximum amount of time on the gel press (each person will have their own press).
This workshop will be held on Saturday, July 14 from 2 pm - 4 pm and on Tuesday, July 24 between 10 am and noon.
The cost for this workshop is $30 including GST. Sign up to reserve your spot!
Monthly Card Workshops
In our monthly workshops, we'll create six all occasion cards using creative card-making techniques.
The impressive cards will undoubtedly be cherished by the recipient.
(Cards will not be exactly as shown here, but will be a mix of Thank You, Birthday, and other general greetings.)
No experience is needed, as all the supplies and step-by-step instruction are provided.
July's workshop will be held on Saturday, July 28 from 2 pm - 4 pm and the August workshop will be Sunday, August 19 from 2 pm - 4 pm. The cost for each workshop is $30 including GST. Reserve your spot for one or both of these workshops.
Felted Canvas Inspiration Board
This workshop combines a touch of painting, some needle felting techniques and some journalling flare to create an inspirational message board that you can hang on your wall, or give as a gift to someone who needs a lift!
We will use an 8 x 8" canvas panel and add the paint and felt embellishments. Then, you'll have a chance to customize the board with an inspirational message (a variety of messages will be provided, or you can create and add your own message) to make it truly unique.
This workshop will be held on Tuesday, August 7 from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm and again on Sunday, August 12 from 1 pm - 4 pm (please note this is an extended, three-hour workshop rather than the usual two-hour session). The cost for this workshop is $40 including GST.
No experience is necessary and you will be provided with all the supplies and instruction. Class size is limited to ensure each participant has adequate access to the tools, so be sure to sign up early so you aren't disappointed!
