September Creativity & Christmas Sneak Peak
I have been spending the past few days getting into the "holiday spirit," designing and prepping the holiday cards for the upcoming workshops. We'll start with the Christmas-themed workshops in October, so stay tuned for all the great workshops! The photo above is a "sneak peek" of just some of what I've been working on.

Silly & Snarky (back by popular demand, and I must say, these have been the easiest for me to create)
Glitter and Shine (glitter and foil papers and everything shiny!)
Whimsical Greetings (aka, "ootsie-cutsie!")
Traditional (a little more down-to-Earth and definitely, without the "snark")
Pop and Surprise (cards with a "little extra" on the inside)
Funky Folds (also back by popular demand - see what I come up with this year!)
And, of course, I'll also be hosting the annual Holiday Card Marathon in October, where we'll make three each of six designs for a take-away of 18 cards!
Keep your eyes open for dates and times, as there are also some other fun things I'm working on.
But now, for what's on this month!
We'll continue with Messy Mondays on September 10th and 24th from 10 am - noon.
Bring in your art journaling projects and enjoy some creative time with a group of other creatives!
Cost is $10, including tax.
The regular, monthly all occasion card workshop will be Saturday, September 8 from 2 pm - 4 pm.
We'll make six all occasion cards with a variety of themes and greetings.

The cost for this workshop is $30 including taxes. Please pre-register here for this workshop.
On Saturday, September 23 we'll gather to create one of these wonderful Collage Shadow Box.
You'll create your own collage background, add an image (either hand-drawn or stamped) and select a saying to make it personal.
This workshop includes all the materials, including a shadow-box-style frame for your finished piece.
Cost for this workshop is $40 including taxes. Limited spots available. Please pre-register here.
We'll wrap up the month participating in BC Culture Days.
The theme for my event is "Create Love, Share Love." In these hands-on workshops, participants will be guided through the creation of a custom greeting card that you can take away and send to a “special someone,” and, as the session title says, “share love.”
Anyone new to card making will be introduced to the skills for creating their own hand-made paper craft projects. While at the studio, visitors can browse to see past, and upcoming projects.
This event is free and no pre-registration is required, though space is limited. Please allow 30 minutes for the hands-on creative workshops. Workshops will run every half hour (one card will be created in each workshop), starting at 11:30 am until 3:30 pm (final session ending at 4 pm). Suitable for ages 10 and up.
