Get Ready for Fall & Winter Workshops!

Fall is certainly in the air and it is time to start thinking about all the great projects for the upcoming seasons.

Of course, I'll have my usual offering of birthday cards, all occasion cards and holiday cards, and I'm also preparing some special project workshops for holiday decor items, such as canvases and plaques and the ever-popular shadow boxes.

If you know anyone who has a Cricut machine that they haven't mastered (or even taken out of the box), point them my way, as I'm always happy to share my love of the technology with other crafters!

I'm also busy preparing for a number of craft fairs in the month of November - stay tuned for more details on those.

Before I get into the details, I wanted to let you know that after holding my pricing steady for quite some time, I am now needing to increase the cost of some of my workshops. You will see the details below in the workshop announcements section and I appreciate your continued support and understanding with these new rates.

As I continue to prepare projects and plan dates, I would love to hear from you, so please let me know if there are any specific projects or workshops you're interested in. And, remember, I'm also happy to host a private session for your group, if there's something specific you'd like to work on.

Fall & Winter Workshops

Messy Mondays is a drop-in, non-instructional art journal session held every Monday between 10 and noon. Come for the whole time, or drop-in for an hour and enjoy some creative and social time. Studio supplies and tools will be available for your use as you create your own journal page.

The cost for these sessions is $10 including GST.

Birthday Card Blitz is a workshop dedicated to those special days when you celebrate a special someone. We'll create six birthday cards in a mix of themes. All supplies, including materials and coordinating envelopes, are provided for each session.

The cost for these sessions is $35 plus GST ($36.75 total).

For my Holiday Card Workshops this year, I'll have all the "old favourites" from Traditional, to Whimsical, and of course, the Silly and Snarky session. In each session we'll make six cards, and all supplies, including materials and coordinating envelopes, are provided for each session.

The cost for these sessions is $35 plus GST.

I'll also be offering the popular Holiday Card Marathon session where we'll make three each of six designs (a total of 18 cards). The cost for this session is $50 plus tax ($52.50) for the three-hour session and all the supplies and materials.

As I mentioned above, I am busy creating samples for some additional "holiday decor" items. These include decoupaged canvases (using seasonal napkins), shadow boxes (I have a lot of new designs, and even more ideas), and inspirational holiday-themed plaques. Prices will vary on these workshops depending on the project so I'll send out details shortly.

I also offer private, one-on-one or group sessions. The rate for one-on-one sessions is $20 per hour. Group session rates will be confirmed based on the project and number of participants. For all private sessions, an additional design fee may be required if there is substantial project preparation work (i.e., if the project being completed is not one of my regularly planned workshops).

Cricut instructional sessions are $30 for two hours and I'll explain the Design Space software, show you some basic techniques, tips and tricks, and give you the chance to create a small project for yourself.
