Spring is Springing with Two New Projects for March

Here we are back in daylight's saving time, and so we just know that Spring is on its way (yay!).

I've been busy creating two fun projects for this month. The first is the set of EIGHT cards shown in the photo above (rather than the usual SIX), all based on the theme of "Kindness." And, I'm keeping the price at $25 for take-out workshops, and $30 for in-studio sessions (envelopes and taxes are included).

As a bonus, with this month's kit, you will also get the EIGHT sentiment stamps I used on these cards (stamps will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, as I have limited quantities). These stamps are 2" x 2" format, and I've paired them with some fun images, and masked and enhanced a few of them, too, to give you more ideas of how you can adapt and extend your stamp supply. Here's a photo of the eight stamps "as they come" in the packaging.

There are so many opportunities for these sentiments, and you can see that with a little masking you can really make them go a long way!

Email me if you'd like to order one of these workshops to complete as a take-out session, or in-studio.

My second project for the month is what I call a Spring Shadow Box. This was such a delight to work on, because I had an idea in my mind for weeks, and when I finally got myself into preparing the actual elements, I was just thrilled at how lovely it turned out.

This project involves creating a 3-D floral "mat" that sits inside a white shadow box frame. The flowers are rolled from paper cut-outs, and the various leaves and branches are dies and additional cut-outs.

The frame stands on its own, can be propped up with the attached "easel" stand on the back, or can be hung on a wall. The sentiment, "Find what brings you JOY and go there" is sure to brighten up even the darkest (rainy) day and it provides a reminder of the inspiration that Spring delivers.

There are two "levels of difficulty" for this workshop. With the advanced level, you will create the 3-D floral mat, roll the flowers and assemble the elements for the final work. (The cost for the advanced option is $30 which includes all the materials and the white shadow box frame.)

For an "express" option, I will assemble the floral mat and roll the flowers, so that all you have to do is assemble the elements into your desired layout. (The cost for this option is $35 including taxes.)

This project would be great to keep for yourself, or to give as a gift to someone who needs a little extra cheer right now.

Let me know if you're interested in either version of this workshop and I can coordinate a time to either complete the project in studio, or have it ready for you to do as a take-out workshop.

Hmmm, now what will my mind swing to for April's sessions? Stay tuned, and happy crafting!
